Late in the evening of November 14th, LPSO narcotic detectives located a LaSalle Parish woman who had been the subject of a long narcotic investigation spanning nearly eight months. Detectives located Katy Irene Wilson, 26, at a local convenience store in Jena where she was pumping gas into a vehicle. Narcotics detectives had obtained warrants for Wilson’s arrest back in April of this year, but Wilson was able to abscond before these warrants could be served.

Officers made several attempts to locate Wilson with no luck until this night. She was arrested without incident. Upon searching her person, a quantity of Schedule IV controlled dangerous substances were found on her person. Wilson was transported to the LaSalle Parish Jail and booked on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of CDS II (cocaine), possession of CDS II (methamphetamines), possession of drug paraphernalia and felony theft (2 counts). Other charges are possible in the next few weeks, officers confirmed.
