Detectives with the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals on narcotic charges during the past week, according to LaSalle Sheriff Scott Franklin.
Randy Franklin, 62, of Urania, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 18, for distribution of illegal narcotics after evidence was obtained that Franklin sold methamphetamine on two different occasions in Urania.
A warrant was obtained and detectives noticed Franklin driving on US 84, just west of Jena, and pulled him over. He was arrested without incident and transported to the LaSalle Parish Jail in Jena.
He was booked on two counts of distribution of CDS II – methamphetamine – and bond was set at $50,000.
On Tuesday, January 17, David T. Bradley, 39, of Jena, was booked into the LaSalle Parish Jail.
LPSO detectives obtained evidence that Bradley was present during the distribution of methamphetamine, and a warrant was obtained.
He was booked on a charge of criminal conspiracy to distribute CDS II – methamphetamine.
