Serving Federal Warrant Leads to Narcotic Charges

On Friday, July 21, US Marshal task force agents went to a residence south of Olla to serve a federal arrest warrant.  Once inside the home, agents discovered marijuana plants growing in the living room along with other drug paraphernalia.

LPSO detectives responded and spoke with two individuals in the home, identified as Hughy Paul Williams and Alicia Noble.

Williams informed that the marijuana plants belonged to him, and that they were about a month old. Detectives continued searching, locating drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine in items belonging to Alicia Noble.

More marijuana plants were discovered growing behind the home in a wooded area. Both Williams and Noble were arrested and transported to the LaSalle Parish Jail in Jena.

Hughy Paul Williams, age 44, of Olla, was booked on the charges of manufacture of CDS I marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Alicia Noble, age 39, of Alexandria, was booked on the charges of possession of CDS II methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
