On February 6, 2013, while assisting Louisiana Probation and Parole Officers, a LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputy arrested an Olla woman for possessing two different kinds of controlled prescription medications without having a valid prescription for these medications.
Marissa Billingsly, 30, of Olla, was arrested after Louisiana Probation and Parole officers went to the residence of Billingsly for a routine check.
Once inside the residence, officers found a large amount of two different prescription pills in Billingsly’s possession.
After detaining Billingsly and securing the illegal drugs as evidence, the LPSO Deputy transported Billingsly to the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office where she was booked on the charges of possession of CDS III and possession of CDS IV.
As of press time on Monday, Billingsly remained in the parish jail awaiting a hearing on these charges.
