LaSalle Parish Man Arrested on Drug Charges

Steven Paul Eubanks, 42, of Jena, was arrested on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, after LPSO Detectives observed firearms and illegal narcotics in his possession.

Detectives observed Eubanks getting out of a car on his property located off of the Pleasant Hill Road and pulled in to speak with him regarding suspected illegal narcotic activity at his place.

Consent was given to search, and detectives located firearms inside of a small enclosed trailer.  Eubanks is currently on probation and is not to be in possession of a firearm. Detectives also located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, hydrocodone, and drug paraphernalia, in his vehicle.

Eubanks was transported to the LaSalle Parish Jail and booked on the charges of possession of CDS II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of CDS II (hydrocodone), possession of CDS I (marijuana) 3rd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Bond was set at $76,500 and Eubanks remains in custody on a probation hold.
